Privacy Policy

This explains what personal data FVC Build Ltd collects when you get in touch, how it is used, and your rights over it.

Last updated: September 2026

1. Who we are

1.1 FVC Build Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at frank@fvcbuildltd.co.uk or 07540 830 666 about anything in this policy.

2. What we collect

2.1 When you submit the enquiry form on our Contact page, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of job, your town or postcode, and the project details you write.

2.2 We do not collect any personal data automatically through the website itself. We do not use analytics or tracking scripts, and the site does not set any cookies.

3. How we use it

3.1 We use the information you submit only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a visit, and provide a written quotation, and, if you go ahead, to deliver the agreed building services.

3.2 We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone outside of what is described in section 4.

4. Third parties

4.1 The Contact page form is processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, which receives your submission and forwards it to us by email. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf for this single purpose; it does not use your data for its own marketing.

4.2 We do not otherwise share your personal data with third parties, except where required by law.

5. Cookies

5.1 This website does not use cookies or any similar tracking technology, so no cookie consent banner is shown. If that changes in future (for example, if analytics is added), this policy will be updated first.

6. How long we keep it

6.1 We keep enquiry and project details for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a customer, for the duration of the project plus a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and warranty purposes. We delete enquiries we have no ongoing reason to keep.

7. Your rights

7.1 Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details in section 1.

7.2 If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Security

8.1 We take reasonable steps to keep the personal data you share with us secure, including relying on Web3Forms' own security measures for data in transit during form submission.

9. Changes to this policy

9.1 We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new tool that handles your data. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
